Inside the Lodge, we have 5 rooms that are set up dormitory style with one to two sets of bunk beds (can sleep up to 3-5 depending on the room). These rooms are each named after well known cattle breeds in the West, and can accommodate couples or families nicely.

The Lodge also has a 1,700 square foot deck, and has become a very popular place to sleep under the amazing starlight sky.

Bar 10 Ranch offers a diverse selection of western ranch activities and tours, all within view of the magnificent Grand Canyon. The ranch is open seasonally mid-March thru mid-November (some limitations may apply in March and April).

We helicoptered off the river in the Grand Canyon after 7 days of whitewater rafting to Bar 10 Ranch. They have showers, air conditioning, food and a trading post. It’s also a destination on its own for vacationers, with many activities. The staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. A great way station back to the modern world.

Up at 06:30 we were picked up by a shuttle bus from our casino and taken to Boulder City Airport. Once there you are brought into a very nice waiting room that belongs to Papillon airlines and Grand Canyon Airlines. We took an old 208 Caravan into a primitive airstrip.
